Ian Ramsey
BVSc, PhD, DSAM, FHEA, Dipl ECVIM-CA, FRCVS
Ian Ramsey is the Professor of Small Animal Medicine at Glasgow University and is an RCVS and European Specialist in Small Animal Medicine. He has lectured extensively and has published widely in many aspects of small animal medicine but his main interest is in endocrinology. He was awarded the BSAVA Woodrow Award for contributions to small animal medicine in 2015 and has served on the Board of BSAVA Trustees since 2016 (being President 2020-21). Away from work he spends his time walking his dogs and trying to play tennis.
